You need a good, solid foundation in your life. Something you know that when you visit, it will not fail to disappoint. Sometimes, you just need a haleem. And Shahi Nan Kebab is the place to go.
Not only do they give free poppadoms upon arrival, with a good helping of their unique chilli sauce... Ah, their chilli sauce. I could write lines and lines about the crunchiness of the fresh onions and the tangy yet spicy flavour of it, honestly, a work of genius. What was I talking about again? Oh yes, food, my favourite subject.
Moving swiftly on, we went for a portion of seekh kebabs, fries , mutton tikka and their infamous, atleast in my eyes, haleem. Their kebabs and mutton tikka are both delightful and great for all those fellow meat eaters out there. But the haleem is to die for. Served with fresh chillis, ginger root and fried onions garnished on the top, it's the right balance of spice and bursts with flavour. If you're going to pay a visit to Shahi Nan, then I absolutely recommend this dish.
Overall, a great place and it never fails to disappoint. -

I have been coming to this cosy, family run Pakistani restaurant for years now. It is our favourite place for seekh kababs as they are grilled to perfection! Their kababs definitely stand out compared to all the competition around, hence the name of the restaurant!
The interior has recently been redone and it is simple but clean and cosy.
I highly recommend their Haleem (which is very fresh) and of course their kababs. They serve this with mint chutney, spicy homemade chilli sauce and complimentary poppadoms!!
Service can be a little slow as they seem a bit short staffed and have many customers - today being a Tuesday night, the restaurant was quite packed so weekends are probably more busy. -

I hadn't been here for a few years but I was invited here a week ago for a birthday bash. The food is amazing as I expected and the kebab rolls are to die for. Shahi's curries are also tasty, piping hot, made to your request and served with naan/roti and fresh salad. I'd recommend the keema (mince) dish. The service was excellent and they cater to your every need to make your dining experience a pleasant one..

Great take-away. Extensive range of food, and at a great price. If you can't be out in a resturant, this is the next it of best thing - all the food is really tasty. Only downside is parking can be a bit of a pain, but well worth the effort.
